Train smartly to hit your stride in time for the Clew Bay 10-kilometer race, with our ’10 after 10′ program. This 10 week program has been designed for new runners looking for a training program to prepare them for a 10K race. Or for experienced runners, looking for an easy schedule involving a relatively low level of weekly miles.
By implementing strides and fartlek runs at the start this program gently introduces you you to faster paced runs that will help you to build the speed and strenght to run at your goal pace. To participate in this 10K program, you should have no major health problems, and perhaps have done at least some jogging or walking. Ideally you should be able to run a 5KM comfortably, this program is a great follow up after your Couch to 5KM course!
The program includes application for the Clew Bay 10KM, RunToday running shirt, training plan and 20+ group training sessions. The course will start the first week of July 2025!
